Auburn @ West Virginia is an awful state 1930: To think that a month ago this would have been a marquee matchup is laughable, but highlights the random nature of College Football. Burn your couches tonight!

Boise State @ San Jose State 2100: Have anything better to do at 9 on a Friday? You should because I'm not sure who gives a fuck about this game.

#8 The Pirate Ship that is Texas Tech @ #23 Kansas 1200: I finally got my BlackoUT TT shirt in the mail this week and apparently an XL is now a boys Large. For this I expect Graham Harrell and the Mighty Pirates to EPIC FAIL.
Kentucky @ #10 FLOLida 1230: Fucking Raycom. I hate you so much. Not only are you covering this trap game, but you know I will sit in front of my tv trying to discern what is going on the screen. HD is a waste of money because of you.

#3 Really Old Man @ #9 THE OSU 2000: I don't ever remember rooting for tOSU for anything. Ever. I have no reason to visit Ohio, love Ohio, or even think of Ohio during the normal course of my day. However, just as Syracuse manages to win a game, the impossible happens. BEAT PSU AND THROW THE BIG ELEVEN OUT OF THE FUCKING BCS PICTURE!! Probably won't happen, but I can dream.

For some reason I can't stop watching the first fifteen seconds of this over and over and over again.

I have a cough/cold and I thought I'd share my cure for it:

NyQuil Sunrise:
1 Large Bottle of Nyquil (Red Flavor)
10-ounces Orange Juice
1 Pint Glass

1. Wash pint glass, no use getting more sick.
2. Pour OJ into Pint glass.
3. Pour approximately half of NyQuil into glass (+- to taste)
4. Imbibe contents of pint glass.
5. Walk to bed.
6. Wake up on floor.

but when your team(s) isn't playing during a weekend do you just stop giving a shit too? This weekend both the Jags and the Gators had byes and I quite possibly could not have cared less about football this entire weekend. The apocalypse could have occurred in the football world (ND winning the championship would qualify as such)and I would have sat in my apartment quite content with myself. Is it a question of my fandom that I only care about my teams? I truly love the game of football, but that love wanes when I have no rooting interest. This weekend was a whammy, not only did my teams not play, but my conference (SEC) had no compelling games to watch. We become so emotionally invested that when we have nothing to root for we just stand like idiots. For me, its time for me to boot and rally. The Gators are on the verge of a HUGE run to the SEC championship (I will not mention the BCS lest I jinx myself), the Jaguars have stopped the bleeding and are back on track hopefully. Boot and Rally, folks. We're pros at this shit.
